The objectives of the everis foundation are the following:
- The design and promotion of education, teaching, training, research, innovation and professional retraining.
- The development, support, promotion and advice of initiatives and business or research projects innovative, strategic and socially responsible.
The foundation develops these initiatives in the areas of health and care economy, energy efficiency and renewable energy, eGovernment, social networking and Information Technology and Communication.
Beneficiaries:
• Universities, both students and teachers.
• Research and Development Centers, both public and private.
• Technology experts, in all areas.
• Entrepreneurs.
• Research projects.
During this period, the foundation has established and maintained collaboration and cooperation agreements in training activities with five public and private Spanish universities: Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Universidad Politécnica de Barcelona, Universidad de las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Universidad de Alcalá de Henares in Madrid, Universidad Jaume I in Castellón, Universidad de Navarra and Universidad Politécnica de Valencia. Internationally, the foundation maintains contact with the University of Harvard. In this sense, the foundation has funded a university professorship and has participated in the launch of several academic spin-offs. Similarly, the institution has awarded its annual prizes for Testing and Entrepreneurs.
On the one hand, these actions have been an occasion for the foundation to cooperate with other companies and institutions, such as Repsol; and on the other, they are a way, thanks to everis volunteers, to participate in launch actions and management of academic spin-off and graduate and postgraduate training in areas such as improvement and process design and change management in companies that evolve from the classical model of functional organization to processes paradigm.
Finally, Actualidad Económica magazine has recognized everis foundation with the prize for "the 100 best ideas" for the second consecutive year.
